ICRH Welcomes Mackey as Partner

Iseman, Cunningham, Riester & Hyde, LLP, a general practice law firm with offices in Albany and Poughkeepsie, has announced that Joshua Mackey of Millbrook has been named partner.

Mackey has been of counsel to the firm since 2005, and is head of the firm's Insurance Defense practice group. He concentrates his practice in litigation, primarily insurance-related matters involving fraud, coverage, breach of contract and negligence.

"We are extremely pleased to have Josh join us as a partner," said ICRH Managing Partner Carol Hyde. "His experience and enthusiasm for practicing law have done much to position our firm as one of the most successful in the region."

Josh is currently New York State Chair for the Council on Litigation Management, which promotes ethical principles and best practices of litigation management to council members, and is also a member of the Defense Research Institute, National Society of Professional Insurance Investigators and New York State Chapter of Special Investigation Units.

Active in the community of his native Dutchess County, Josh serves on the Town of Washington Planning Board and the Board of Directors of Abilities First, Inc. He is a volunteer attorney with Legal Services of the Hudson Valley and received the Greater Southern Dutchess Chamber of Commerce "Forty Under 40" award in 2009.

Josh received his bachelor's degree from Assumption College and his law degree from Brooklyn Law School. He is admitted to practice in the courts of New York State and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, and is a member of the New York State and Dutchess County bar associations.
