Mr. Queenan practices in the areas of criminal, civil rights,
commercial and health care litigation. He earned his Bachelor
of Arts degree (summa cum laude) from the State
University of New York at Albany, and his law degree (magna
cum laude) from Albany Law School of Union University.
While in law school, Mr. Queenan was a member of the Moot
Court Board and served as a committee chair on its executive
board. He also participated in the intra-school moot court
program and participated in the national moot court competition.
Mr. Queenan is admitted before the courts of New York State
and the United States District Court for the Northern, Southern,
and Eastern Districts of New York. He is a member of the
New York State and Albany County Bar Associations, the American
Health Lawyers Association, and the National Association
of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
After graduating from law school, Mr. Queenan practiced
with the New York City Law Department, Office of Corporation
Counsel, in the Law Department's Juvenile Prosecution Unit
in Bronx County. He then moved to the Special Federal Litigation
Division of the Law Department, where he defended civil
rights actions brought against the New York City Police
Department, Department of Corrections, and other law enforcement
agencies of the City of New York. Mr. Queenan later served
as Assistant Deputy Borough Chief in Bronx County, the Designated
Felony Unit Prosecutor in Queens County, and as the Deputy
Borough Chief of Queens County, all with the Juvenile Prosecution
Unit of the Law Department. During these assignments, he
also acted as litigation counsel in certain matters for
the New York City Department of Education and Department
of Juvenile Justice.
Mr. Queenan joined Iseman, Cunningham, Riester & Hyde,
LLP, as an associate attorney in 2004.
